Parental Consent Required Before an online entry can be accepted for a player under the age of 18, a signed copy of the parental consent form below must be received by the WPGA.

Alternates Qualifying-round alternates have no status at the championship site until they are officially accepted into the starting field.
Distance Measuring Devices Distance Measuring Devices which have no other functions may be used.  Use of a DMD that has any function such as slope calculation will result in disqualification even if such a function is turned off.
Eligibility Professional golfers who are members in good standing with their PGA Sections (including the Western NY PGA Section) and reside in Western Pennsylvania, assistant professionals who meet the residency requirements and are employed by such members, other professional golfers who meet district requirements, all members and apprentices in good stand of the Tri-State Section. Amateur golfers who reside within the jurisdiction of the Western Pennsylvania Golf Association or are members of a WPGA Member club and have USGA Handicap Indexes not exceeding 2.4 strokes.
Late Entries The Committee reserves the right to accept late entries. Such entries may be accepted at the convenience of the Committee, and must be accompanied by a late fee of $25 prior to acceptance.
List of Conforming Golf Balls The ball the player plays must be named on the current List of Conforming Golf Balls issued by the United States Golf Association.

PENALTY FOR BREACH OF CONDITION:
Disqualification.
One Ball Rule in effect The Optional condition requiring the use of a single brand and type of ball is in effect. See page 106 of the Rules of Golf.
Other Items Entry fees include range balls, food, and prizes.
Personal Appearance The Committee at the Championship shall decide whether this requirement is met. The wearing of shorts is permitted, provided they are of Bermuda length or longer.
Playing Ability Players failing to return scores withing ten (10) strokes of the USGA Course Rating at qualifying sites may have future entries declined, unless the contestant can document he is capable of competing at the championship level.
Rules of Play USGA Rules of Golf, the WPGA Local Rules card and other Local Rules distributed will govern play.
Starting Times and Information Starting times and other information will be available on the WPGA web site (http://www.wpga.org) approximately one week before the championship. If you are unable to get your time from the website, please call 412-826-2180.
Transportation Players are required to walk at all times during the qualifier and the championship unless otherwise authorized by the Rule Committee.
Withdrawals Withdrawals after the groupings and starting times have been finalized will be charged a $20 service charge. Withdrawals on the day of the event will not recieve an refund.
