| Entering Both tournaments |
If a Senior Player is eligible for both the Tournament of Champions and the Senior Tournament of Champions and wishes to play in both events, he should enter the Tournament of Champions and check the box for entry in both. The fee will be $150.00 total. |
| Distance Measuring Devices |
Distance Measuring Devices which have no other functions may be used. Use of a DMD that has any function such as slope calculation will result in disqualification even if such a function is turned off. |
| Eligibility |
Players eligible are current Senior club champions from Member Clubs, champions (scratch) of all WPGA events, and the previous year's Senior Honor Roll, including Honorable Mentions.
If a current club champion is unavailable to compete, the runner-up or the previous year's club champion may replace him. |
| Late Entries |
The Committee reserves the right to accept late entries. Such entries may be accepted at the convenience of the Committee, and must be accompanied by a late fee of $50 prior to acceptance. |
| List of Conforming Golf Balls |
The ball the player plays must be named on the current List of Conforming Golf Balls issued by the United States Golf Association.
PENALTY FOR BREACH OF CONDITION:
Disqualification. |
| One Ball Rule in effect |
The Optional condition requiring the use of a single brand and type of ball is in effect. See page 106 of the Rules of Golf. |
| Other Items |
Entry fees include range balls, food, prizes and cart fees. |
| Rules of Play |
USGA Rules of Golf, the WPGA Local Rules card and other Local Rules distributed will govern play. |
| Starting Times and Information |
Starting times and other information will be available on the WPGA web site (http://www.wpga.org) approximately one week before the championship. If you are unable to get your time from the website, please call 412-826-2180.
The optional condition to Rule 6-3 is in effect. See Page 27 of the Rules of Golf. |
| Transportation |
Included in the entry fees, but not required. Players who walk may request a refund of the appropriate amount from the WPGA after the event. |
| Withdrawals |
Withdrawals before the close of entries will be charged a $15 service charge. Withdrawals after the entries have closed will be charged a $25 service charge. Withdrawals on the day of the event will not recieve an refund. |
